Where Can You Study Biomedical Engineering in Poland?

Admission process for Biomedical Engineering
Admission to Biomedical Engineering and Biomedical Science programs in Poland is conducted without classic entrance exams. Selection is based on submitted documents and academic performance.
The main requirement is a secondary school diploma (for Bachelor’s programs) or a Bachelor’s degree (for Master’s programs). Universities primarily evaluate grades in core subjects, especially:

- sometimes chemistry.
It is important to note that universities focus not only on the overall GPA, but mainly on grades in these профиль subjects. EU applicants
For EU/EEA applicants, the admission process is fully document-based. Diplomas that give access to higher education in the home country are usually accepted without formal nostrification. Academic evaluation focuses on subject grades, and no additional exams are required.
Non-EU applicants
For non-EU applicants, the process is similar, but documents are reviewed more carefully. Universities assess the curriculum, grading scale, and number of study years. Grades are converted into the Polish system, and advanced-level subjects are considered an advantage. In most cases, nostrification is not required before admission.
